Diamond Nail Design- Week of 4/30/12

Nothing really fancy this week. I painted these at like 10:30 at night and I was tired so I had to make it quick.

Index Card Picture Decoration

I had absolutely nothing to do one day and I had some index cards nearby so I drew this up. I don't know if you can see but the picture is made up of twelve index cards. I just started doodling the cloud in the corner and then it just turned into a mess of other doodles. I'm eventually going to hang them up one by one somewhere so that when it hangs it's one picture but each of the pieces looks like it's floating. That probably doesn't make any sense but I'll put a picture up when I do it.

Foreign Money Necklace

So one day I got this sudden urge to make a bracelet out of foreign money. And well I had about five or six coins and made a bracelet from that. But when everyone started seeing my bracelet, they offered to give me foreign money that they had and pretty soon my collection of coins grew so much that I had to make it into a necklace. I do wear it, but not that often cause well it's heavy(for a necklace) and well I don't want to wear out the specialness of it.:)  Here's all the coins I used on it. The list goes in order from the coin starting in the top on the left and going around counter-clockwise.(I'm sorry if I'm not using the correct terms, I tried my best to read what is on the coins):

UK- 5 pence

Eygpt- 25pt.

Canada- 25cents

Republic of Italy- 10

Eygpt- 1 pound

Somalia- 10 shillings

Uzbekistan(?)- 10 qepick(?)

Eygpt- 50 piastres

This Weeks Nails-Week of 4/16/12

Here's this weeks nails. I wasn't really sure what to do so I did question marks. So I guess you could say that the question marks symbolize me not knowing what to paint. Haha.

Daft Punk Sneakers

So I had an old pair of Converse sneakers and I wanted to paint them so that way I could wear them again without them looking completely like crap. So I painted a Daft Punk design on them a little while ago and I added some new laces on them.  Below is the inside side of the shoe and it says "Human After All" and that is one of their songs, that is probably one of my favorite Daft Punk songs ever. Daft Punk T-Shirt

I was inspired by Daft Punk's song "Television Rules The Nation" to make this shirt. I didn't have anything to do one weekend and well, yeah just drew this up. This is a pretty cool song, I actually heard it underwater once in a hotels pool. You can listen to it here:

I like to paint my nails. My friend once dared me a few years ago to paint a different design every week and well, I've been doing that for a few years now.
